  The  Victorinox Wood 8-inch Chef's Knife features a Classic triple-rivet wood handle and extremely sharp blade that holds its edge. As with all Victorinox wood knives, the handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and perfect balance.

  The blade on this chef's knife is wide and makes quick work of any cut of meat. It's curved edge also lends itself to slicing, chopping and dicing.

  Victorinox Kitchen knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.
