The Swiss Classic 3.25" Spear Tip Paring Knife by Victorinox features an ergonomic handle that fits nicely in your hand, as well as a sharp blade that holds its edge.
Victorinox knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.
The contemporary handles of Swiss Classic knives are inspired by the patented Fibrox handles of Victorinox professional knives, which are the preferred tools of chefs around the world. Swiss Classic handles are NSF approved, with minimal crevices to offer hospitality to bacteria.
The pointed tip of this Swiss-made parer is perfectly designed for almost any small task, from hulling strawberries to dicing garlic or chives to deveining shrimp. This versatile parer is also an excellent gardening companion.

For the money, this knife can't be beat. While it's not the original intended purpose, this knife works fairly well as a utility knife; the thin blade makes it great for cutting up cardboard. It also works well as a fillet knife for smaller fish like perch and bluegill.

I didn’t expect such a good quality paring knife at such an affordable price. It’s an understated piece, but it gets the job done, again and again. This knife is such a pleasant surprise that I’ve been thinking of looking into buying the chef knife, even though I don’t need one, lol! Really! My wife had been given one, of your knives, by a co-worker, who was from Switzerland, about 15 years ago & used it all the time! It was her favorite! Recently it broke in half & when I was able to replace it (affordably), I ordered a second knife, in the color of your ubiquitous multi-function Army knives! I'm a hero! Thank you!
