Not just for Surge...yes it's an exact replacement, yes it fits properly, and yes it's reasonably good quality. One set of replacement saw and File has found a home in the Leatherman Crunch kit. Install either tool on the Crunch using the Pin Vice. Place the lower part of the t shank handle in the channel of the lower jaw on the Crunch vertically, adjust the jaws to accommodate the t shank and close the handles. When properly installed this setup works extremely well. Having a good quality diamond file on board just seems like a pretty good idea...Swiss Tool Spirit Plus kit has a Lot going for it...it now has this replacement saw and File as part of its kit. These tools don't attach to the Spirit and are used as independent, hand held units. With the t shank format and a little ingenuity a more proper handle can be fashioned. One thing we found very appealing, these replacement components are pocket sized, come with their own protective sleeve, are very light weight, and take up very little precious real estate...seems like their application is limited only by one's imagination.
