My son loves his Swiss Champ. Uses it all the time, especially at scout camps. It was sold out around Christmas, but got on the notify list. I bought it as soon as I got the restock email. And even though it was a couple of days past the Christmas guaranteed shipping deadline, and had custom engraving, still arrived a day before we had to travel out of town. All around a great experience and product. I have 3 Victorinox knives and I sometimes borrow his

Many are put off by the Swiss Champ’s size, but it honestly sits in my pocket almost as comfortably as my Compact. Granted I use a pocket clip to hang it from the edge of my pocket, rather than just letting it sit loose in there. My only gripe with the Swiss Champ is the file. The cuts on the file go all the way to the edge of the tool, so it occasionally scrapes my knuckled a bit when I try to open another tool. I’ll learn to avoid it habitually and otherwise it’s a very solid piece of kit, though perhaps a tad large (and expensive) for some.

I’ve had this Swiss army knife for 25 years and sent it back to Victorinox because it got a crack on the side scale. Got it back and it is like a brand new knife. They replaced both scales and sharpened all the knives and tools. They gave me a new toothpick and new tweezers. Great Job Victorinox!! 🔪🔪
