The Buck 341 Vantage Avid Small Lockblade Knife is an everyday carry, one-hand opening drop point knife. The razor sharp blade is crafted from 420HC stainless steel, and the knife features a DymaLux Rosewood Inlay handle that is both strong and beautiful.
The drop-point blade is strong and versatile. It is full bellied and has a thick point for heavy cutting jobs. The drop shape from the top of the blade to the tip minimizes accidental punctures.
When opened fully, the 2.63-inch blade on the 341 locks safely into position with a liner lock. To unlock the blade and close the knife, push the locking mechanism to the left and fold the blade shut. When closed, the knife is 3.75-inches long.
The blade of the 341 Vantage Avid Small Knife is made of Buck's standard 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
